Appleton Campbell Promotes Larry Armell and Bill Dooly to Plumbing Install Manager and HVAC Service Manager

WARRENTON, VA — Appleton Campbell is pleased to announce the promotions of Larry Armell and Bill Dooly. Armell began his career with Appleton Campbell in 2003 and Dooly began in 2009. Armell has been named Plumbing Install Manager and Dooly as the HVAC Service Manager. Both have played pivotal roles in the growth and success of the company.

Jim Appleton founded the company in 1976, with his son, James, to take care of the bookkeeping while he worked full-time at the phone company, and his 16-year-old grandson, Mike, current president, who worked alongside him in the company’s single service truck. This locally-owned business has flourished over the last four-plus decades with Scott Wayland as vice president and Michael Appleton as current CEO, now reaching a fourth generation. Today, the business has grown to include a fleet of service trucks and approximately 150 employees.

“I am very happy that I applied for the Plumbing Install Manager position, and look forward to helping the install crews expand their abilities to do better in life,” Armell shared. “Appleton Campbell has been a blessing to me and a great place to work.”

Dooly joined in with, “The culture, clients, leadership, technicians, and office personnel are the best in the industry. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with Appleton Campbell.”

A core belief at Appleton Campbell is taking care of employees who will in turn take great care of its customers. Technicians are continually trained in product knowledge and customer service so that they can provide an exceptional experience.

In addition to providing homeowners with essential plumbing, cooling, heating, and electrical services, Appleton Campbell is dedicated to supporting the surrounding communities that have also supported them for the last 48 years.
