The 2026 race card features a diverse lineup of hurdle, timber, flat, and pony races throughout the day. Spectators will enjoy watching talented jockeys navigate solid jumps and rolling course hills, while the ever-popular pony races highlight the skill and confidence of young riders.

Thoroughbreds from Virginia and neighboring states will compete for top honors and season recognition. “The Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point has long been a cornerstone of Virginia’s steeplechase season, and our 2026 races promise to be exceptional. As we move to a later date on the calendar, we look forward to welcoming outstanding horses and riders from across the region and offering spectators a memorable day of sport, tradition, and community,” said Oliver Brown, MFH and race chairman.

This event is open to the public. Gates open at 10 a.m., and the first race begins at 12 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for parking, tailgating, and socializing. A food truck will be on-site throughout the day. Reserved parking offers the most convenient race-day experience, with excellent views available from every row at The Hill. New parking this year is available on the race course! This is a thrilling opportunity where you will be in the middle of the action as the race horses thunder past.
