Town of Middleburg to Host Oktoberfest Celebration on September 20

Family-friendly event returns with food, games, and more!

MIDDLEBURG, VA — The town of Middleburg will host its fifth Oktoberfest celebration on September 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festivities will take place on S. Madison Street and Federal Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic. This fun-filled day will feature two biergartens, traditional German food, live music, German dancers, corgi dog races, activities for kids, and festival games. Local beer, wine, cider, and traditional Oktoberfest foods will be available for purchase from local vendors.

The event will also feature artwork from local and regional artists. Regional craftspeople will be present throughout the day with exhibits of fine art, pottery, jewelry, wearable art, and more.

Middleburg is located approximately 45 minutes from Washington, D.C., and is in close proximity to Dulles International Airport. To get there from metropolitan Washington, take I-66 West to Route 50 West (Exit 57B) toward Winchester. Drive approximately 25 miles to Middleburg.
