September 20 – 22 | trinityupperville.org/news
In what will be a first for the iconic Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, artisan vendors from the entire length of the East Coast will gather at the beautiful church and grounds for a three-day craft and boutique sale. Offerings will include silks, leather goods, jewelry, fine chocolates, portraits, garden ware, and much more. If it proves popular, it’s hoped that the boutique may be the first in a new series of similar events.
The collective of vendors has agreed to raise funds for Trinity, which is currently engaged in raising $10 million for its Renew & Restore Capital Campaign. The Craft & Gift Boutique takes place on Wednesday, September 20, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, September 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Friday, September 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Trinity Church, Upperville, on Route 50. As well as the sale, guided tours of the amazing church building will be available — a 13th-century French-style recreation, and the inspiration and gift of Paul and Bunny Mellon — and homemade refreshments are being served.
